With dentistry becoming more corporatized, it’s no wonder that patients feel like an afterthought in a sea of dental mills. In every corner, a chain exists to serve their shareholders as they place profits above patients. Having worked in corporate for a decade, I have seen the frustrations when patients are forced to try a new and different dentist each visit. Patients often feel dismissed as they are passed along provider to provider.

But let’s be honest. Most of us choose a doctor unrelated to skills, experience, or fit, but rather if the office is “in-network” with our insurance.
